About Me

Lex Bágust is an an established Specialist Child and Adolescent Art Psychotherapist registered with the Health Care Professionals Council (HCPC) and the British Association of Art Therapists (BAAT). Lex has experience working with children, young people, families and adults within settings such as CAMHS – NHS, Charities, Primary, Secondary, residential schools and alternative provisions, PRUs. With a range of knowledge and experience of working individually, within groups and the community. 

Lex is trained in Dyadic Art Psychotherapy (DDP), Children’s Accelerated Trauma Treatment (CATT), Clinical Supervision (BAAT),  with CPD training in Parenting with PACE, Anorexia and Eating Disorders, Attachment and Trauma, Child Abuse, Child Sexual Exploitation (CSE), Domestic Abuse, Mindfulness, Prevent Duty (WRAP), Young people & Self harm.

Lex is passionate about the use of creativity as a means of resolving difficulties in life and for personal development, whilst being able to express onself through engaging with the creative process.
